We went with Spirit of the North Guides for a leisurely and luxurious time on the river. A motorized skiff hauled our backpacks and camping supplies. We had a guide who cooked and pitched the tent for us. He even provided chairs for us to enjoy the campfire. We were served wine, fish, steak and pork for dinner and always a hearty breakfast of bacon, ham, eggs, toast and coffee. We canoed only as far and as much as we wanted. For a first time canoeist and a non-swimmer, Spirit of ther North was the way to go. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!"
